So, it wasn't the solenoid. It was the starter itself. To make matters worse, something inside it broke and when we were in the process of pulling it off a piece fell down inside the motor. Hopefully we can "rescue the residue" without too much problem.
On the bright side, I got another 18 flats planted and in my makeshift greenhouse (that I made last year):
- Toma Verde Tomatillos (2 1/2)
- Purple Tomatillos (1)
- Yellow Marble Tomatoes (3 2/3)
- Cherokee Purple Tomatoes (2/3)
- Black Cherry Tomatoes 1/3)
- Grape Tomatoes (2/3)
- Anaheim Chili Peppers (2 2/3 Total: 3 2/3)
- California Wonder Bell Peppers (1 Total: 2)
- Long Red Cayenne Peppers (1 Total 2)
- Jalapeno Peppers (1 1/2 Total: 2 1/2)
- Sweet Cherry Peppers (1/2 Total: 1 1/2)
- Snowball Self Blanching Cauliflower (1, Experimental Flat)
- Green Sprouting Broccoli (1, Experimental Flat)

It appears as if the goat jumped on it again, this time on the netting, and broke it free from the frame right by the house. It is also more difficult to move than I had anticipated, as well as it not being large enough for all our birds. This calls for a re-design! There is a trailer that my brother was building a chicken house on last year that I am now completely (almost) redoing. The trailer is smaller than my chicken house, but once I add an extended frame it should fit quite nicely. Problem: Flat tires. Solution: Find an old boat trailer that your Dad has sitting in the field and use those tires!
